“Some of the stories are very silly and others are heartbreaking,” said Nina Di Leo, co-producer. “Some of the shorts are straight up dramas, one is a series of monologues and another is absurdist.”
At the end of each round, participants changed tables so that they could meet new people and come up with new ideas and resolutions to help the community resolve various issues pertaining to mental health in education, law enforcement, the workplace and more.
The series, Conversations Over Coffee, are held monthly, and attendees will engage in different topics at each event that will address issues we face both locally and in the larger scope of American culture.
